According to the overall deployment of China Telecom and China Unicom, in the first half of 2020, the two parties will plan, build and share 16,000 5G base stations in Zhejiang, completing 5G deployment in cities above the county level and key towns in Zhejiang Province Full signal coverage.

In Jiangsu, 5G construction has fully resumed. China Telecom and China Unicom are working together to accelerate the progress of 5G network construction. It is expected that the number of 5G base stations in Jiangsu will reach 30,000 by the end of September 2020; by the end of 2020, Shanghai is expected to basically form a coverage center 5G mobile gigabit networks in urban areas and major towns.

The Tiantong satellite mobile communication system has achieved comprehensive coverage of my country’s territory and territorial waters, and can be widely used in marine fisheries, emergency rescue and other scenarios. Within the service area, users can use voice, text messages, data communications and location services. In addition to handheld phones, there are also various terminal types such as vehicle-mounted terminals and Tiantong cats.

Users can also directly connect to the terminal through their mobile phone applications to achieve satellite communication. Currently, this system is exclusively operated by China Telecom, with the number segment being 1740. Users can apply online or in some offline business halls.
