Why does Samsung s4 SMS always flash back without prompting new information?

Maybe there's something wrong with the system.

If there is no message prompt tone when the mobile phone receives the short message, it is suggested that you:

1. Check whether the phone is silent or vibrating.

2. Set the notification volume of mobile phone: Set-sound and notification (sound)-volume-notification, and turn up the notification volume.

3. If there is still no prompt tone after receiving the message, please check whether the SMS prompt tone is set to mute. Operation: Information-More-Settings-Notification-Slide Switch-Prompt Tone-Select Ringtone (Note: Different models may have different operation paths. )

4. Try to replace the built-in system ringtone.

5. If not, try to update the mobile phone system version: Settings-About the mobile phone (about the device)-Download the update manually/download the update automatically (software update/system update-update). Note: Please back up the data in the device before upgrading.

6. If it is the latest version, please back up the data in your phone and try to restore the factory settings.

Brush method:

1. After entering the main mode of the mobile phone, you will see the following interface: use the volume up and down keys to select "Install zip from sdcard". See the red box. Then press the power button to confirm.

2. Enter the next interface: use the volume up and down keys to select "Select zip from sdcard". See the red box. Then press the power button to confirm.

3. Enter the next interface: In this interface, you can see all the directories and files in the root directory on your SD card. Note: In the first step, we have copied the brush package file JVP2.3.4_SunnyOK_CN-2.zip to the root directory of the SD card. So now you should see this file name. Select "JVP2.3.4_SunnyOK_CN-2.zip" with the volume up and down keys. Then press the power button to confirm.

4. Enter the next interface: use the volume up and down keys to select "Yes-Install JVP 2.3.4 _ SunnyOK _ CN-2.zip" and confirm to brush this file. See the red box. Then press the power button to confirm.

5. Enter the next interface. Brush machine begins. You will see the following progress information and a green progress bar.

6. It takes about one minute for the machine to complete and return to the recovery mode. Display the following image in the lower part of the screen. You will see the notice of the end of the brush machine: "installation from sdcard is complete." , tell you that the installation of SD card is over. The following information appears in the upper part of the screen. This is the same as the previous second interface. Now select "+++++goback+++"to return to the previous (first) recovery interface. Press the power button to confirm.

7. Enter the main interface. Then you can wipe it. Use the volume up and down keys to select "Erase Data/Restore Factory Settings" to erase user data, and press the power button to confirm. Use the volume up and down keys to select Erase Cache. Partition "to clear the cached partition data, and press the power button to confirm.

8. Finally, use the volume up and down keys to select "Restart the system now" to restart the phone, and the machine will be refreshed.
