BYD's new energy vehicles are independently developed by BYD and can be charged through AC or DC charging equipment. In order to use the charging function of new energy vehicles normally and safely and facilitate your low-carbon travel, we hereby remind you to understand and comply with the following matters when using the vehicle:

The main power source of new energy vehicles It's a power battery. Frequent Wally and complete discharge (SOC reaches 15) are beneficial to maintaining the activity of the power battery.

Second, due to differences in factors such as power grid environment, charging equipment status, and ambient temperature in different regions, the charging power will change during the charging process in order to ensure charging efficiency and battery safety.

To install the third charging box, please contact a BYD Auto authorized service store (if the installation agency is designated by the local government, it shall be implemented in accordance with local government policies). Private installation or disassembly is strictly prohibited.

The power distribution of the four charging boxes needs to be distributed separately by the power grid. The grid side needs to be connected to the circuit breaker. The input power grid should ensure a reliable connection to the ground wire. The size of the grid cable must meet the requirements of the wall-mounted charging box user manual. Medium cable (national standard copper core wire) wire diameter requirements (3.3KW charging box grid cable size requirement ≥ 2.5mm2; 7KW charging box grid cable size requirement ≥ 6mm2; 40KW charging box grid cable size requirement ≥ 16mm2).

5. It is strictly forbidden to peel off the national standard three-pin plug and connect it directly to the socket for charging. It is strictly forbidden to use "flying wire charging" method to charge the vehicle. Otherwise, it will affect the power grid and cause fire hazards, and all property caused by this will be damaged. and personal safety losses shall be borne by the customer.

6. Customers who do not have the conditions to install a charging box can use the three-to-seven charging gun (with time) that comes with the car to charge; when using it, you need to ensure a reliable connection between the three-core plug and the socket. The ground wire on the power side must be reliably connected, and the overcurrent capacity of the socket must be ≥10A. The use of uncertified sockets is strictly prohibited.

7. When charging:

(1) The portable charging gun or charging box should be kept away from fireworks, moisture, dust, flammable and corrosive places;

(2) It is prohibited to place charging equipment and connection cables in the cab, engine compartment, trunk, bottom of the car and on top of the tires;

(3) Children are prohibited from approaching charging vehicles and charging boxes;

(4) In the event of a fire, while ensuring personal safety, please immediately turn off the main switch of the power grid, use an ABC dry powder fire extinguisher to extinguish the open flame, and use a large amount of water to continuously cool the vehicle. At the same time, call the fire alarm number and contact a BYD authorized service store.

Eight warm tips:

When the vehicle is not used for a long time, the power battery should be charged and discharged once every three months (first charge to 100, then discharge to 40-60 (DM model) ) or 30-40 (EV model)). Otherwise, it will cause the power battery to over-discharge, reduce its performance, cause vehicle failure and damage, and cannot be guaranteed.
