How to cancel Huawei's screen reading function

Shortcut 1:

Tips:

(1) Android version 8.0 and above supports quick turn-off of intercom, and you can view the Android version on the about mobile phone page. For versions below Android 8.0, please turn off TalkBack through the setup interface.

(2) Premise of using shortcut to exit: barrier-free shortcut has been turned on in the settings before entering intercom, and relevant switches can be used when locking the screen. If it is not opened in advance, or this operation cannot be exited, please try other methods.

On the screen lock interface or desktop, press and hold the volume up button and the volume down button for about 3 seconds at the same time to quickly exit the intercom mode.

Shortcut 2:

Press and hold the power button until the shutdown interface appears. After waiting for 5 seconds, press and hold the screen with two fingers for more than 3 seconds to quickly exit the intercom mode.

Shortcut 3:

If the intelligent voice wake-up has been started before entering this mode, you can wake up the intelligent voice by voice wake-up/power key wake-up, and say the closing instruction, such as "closing blind mode", so that you can quickly exit the intercom mode.

2. Turn off intercom through the setting interface.

In intercom mode, sliding screen requires two fingers to slide at the same time; Click the selected target, and a green box will appear after the selected target; Double-click anywhere on the screen to activate the target.

Please choose different ways to set up intercom according to your mobile phone system version.

EMUI 10。 X: Click Settings > Accessibility > Accessibility > Screen Reading to turn off the screen reading switch;

EMUI 8。 X & ampEMUI 9。 X: Click Settings > Intelligent Assistants > Accessibility > Intercom, and turn off the intercom switch;

EMUI 4。 X & ampEMUI 5。 X: Click Settings > Advanced Settings > Auxiliary Functions > Intercom to turn off the intercom switch;

EMUI 3. 1: click settings > accessibility > intercom, and turn off the intercom switch.
