The existence, development and extinction of all things in the world are the processes of combination, settlement and separation of causal conditions. In time, it is the inevitability of causal order and continuity; From the perspective of space, it shows inseparable dependence and unity of opposites; Judging from the movement existing in time and space, it is the emptiness of instantaneous impermanence. This is the Buddha's observation of life in the universe. "Everything happens for a reason, and there is a reason in this life" explains the law of existence in the world. If we understand human interdependence according to the causal law revealed by the Buddha, we can find that world peace is closely related to every individual, family, nation, society and country living on the earth. Only by respecting the equality, sacredness and inviolability of life, with compassion, wisdom and tolerance, can hostility, resentment and hostility be turned into friendship, love and peace, and the peaceful environment of human society can be maintained and a harmonious and mutually beneficial earth can be built.

More than 2500 years ago, Sakyamuni Buddha gave up his position as king, broke the influence of family private ownership and became a monk. Freed from the bondage of self, he consciously felt that he had compassion for others and mixed his own pain with that of all beings. Finally, in deep wisdom, he realized that he became a Buddha because of Dharma. Shi Zun once said in "Add One Agamaripin": "Forget one person for the family, one family for the village, one village for the country and the world for the body." This kind of "forgetting the world for myself" is not to escape from reality, but to forget my whole world, explore myself, and look at the world from the standpoint of self, so as to truly understand the world and promote its harmony and beautiful life.

Shi Zun is an international non-warmonger and an emissary who advocates world peace. According to the Chang 'agama Parade Sutra, the King of Tuo 'Acheng in Mohe prepared to crusade against the neighboring Balong people and sent rain ministers to worship Buddha. The Buddha took this opportunity to persuade and stop the war. On one occasion, the Sakyamuni people and the neighboring Kesala people had a dispute over the use of ditches to irrigate their fields, and they were deadlocked, which almost caused great disaster. After learning about this, the Buddha immediately went to dissuade him, settled the dispute and made the two communities live in harmony. When King Liuli launched a war to attack Kapilowei, Shi Zun sat peacefully under a shed tree without branches and leaves, and moved King Liuli with his great kindness and fearless spirit, thus resolving a cruel killing. "If you defeat the enemy, you will feel uneasy when you are defeated. Whether you win or lose, you will feel quiet and happy. " This is the Buddha's precept of loving peace and opposing war.

Secondly, globalization and terrorism in today's world.

People who are not satisfied with living on the earth begin to dream of making their homes in outer space. Therefore, scientists are convinced that their inventions can bring happiness to mankind, while most people often mistakenly believe that all the problems in the world can be solved by the progress of natural science.

In fact, terrorism and hegemonism are using modern science and technology, threatening the survival and development of mankind. Car bombs, suicide bombings, the explosion of the World Trade Center building in New York, and the spread of advanced technologies such as chemical, biological and nuclear weapons are bound to leave deep disasters for mankind.

With the integration of the world economy and the close contact of the international community, more and more countries have joined the rules of the WTO, and the competition is becoming increasingly fierce. The ever-changing economic index is surging in the ups and downs of red and green, and the pain and melancholy are intertwined, gathering into a new version of the "everlasting regret song" of modern mankind. The prosperity of greed and the vicious and stupid trap are all chronic diseases rooted in human beings. The disparity of economy, the difference of ideas and the advantages and disadvantages of culture have built a social gap between the rich and the poor, between openness and conservatism, and between advanced and backward. By virtue of their own advantages, developed countries and regions have extended their tentacles to all parts of the world, seizing and plundering resources, and at the same time transferring disasters such as environmental pollution, forest destruction and energy depletion to poor countries, making people's lives there worse. This unfair and unreasonable international economic order is the fundamental factor that causes global turmoil.

The world is an inseparable whole, and the excessive development of some parts will inevitably lead to the deviation of the center of gravity. Envy, resentment and dullness in human hearts never stop. Therefore, in this world with different origins, only when all aspects develop in a balanced way, let human beings live in an environment of coexistence, interdependence, compassion and equality, start from inner purification, and truly "all evils should be avoided and all good should be pursued" can we create a bright future for mankind.

Third, the role and value of the Buddhist concept of peace in today's world.

Today's world is a fatalistic relationship with multiple cultures, structures and forms. Seeking the common development of mankind in a peaceful environment is the common concern of the international community in the 2/kloc-0 century. Whether Buddhism can strive for world peace and contribute to the harmonious and beautiful life of mankind as always depends on grasping the development direction and pulse of the times. Observing the world from the standpoint of Buddhist origin theory: peace and war, good and hate, good and violence all originate from people's hearts. "Say that there is no balance, that is, the classics, sounds and smells" says: "The heart is mixed, so the feelings are mixed; The heart is clean and the feelings are clean. " It can be seen that purifying people's hearts and improving people's quality are the source of living water for world peace. Human beings have been blinded by greed, ignorance, dullness, suspicion and bad opinions from the beginning, and have a strong sense of self-belonging and endless possessiveness for property, beauty, fame and fortune, power and status. Han Jing in China said: "Based on desire, mothers and sons, sons and mothers, fathers and sons, brothers and relatives have all changed.". ..... Based on desire, Wang * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *. Because they hate each other, they turn to harm with various weapons, or throw stones with their fists, or hit knives with sticks. " This family, social and international struggle has been staged repeatedly in the human world since ancient times, and many tragedies, massacres and wars have been brewing. Contradictions, confrontations and conflicts in today's world are all based on desires, which have been transformed into high-tech weapons such as aircraft carriers and intercontinental missiles that can destroy the whole planet. In a word, things are the same at all times and in all countries. There will be no real peace in the world as long as human desires are not contained and the soul is not purified.

"Practice hard to stop greed and ignorance" is the Buddha's teaching to his disciples. Discipline is the norm of human morality and ethics, and it must be a way to adjust the balance between body and mind. Wisdom is the ability to distinguish right from wrong. Only by advocating morality, purifying people's hearts and enhancing wisdom can we transform the delusional virtues of heart, action, righteousness, anger, hatred, resentment and cruelty. It is the general program of Buddhism and the basis of turning mystery into enlightenment. The precept can prevent evil, it can subdue and disperse, and wisdom can shine through the darkness. Therefore, Buddhism is an essential medicine to eradicate the three poisons in today's human world, and it is a positive factor to maintain peace, ease conflicts, resolve violence and stop wars.

Fourthly, how to implement the Buddhist concept of peace in today's world?

Everyone longs for peace, and the world needs peace, but peace does not come from empty wishes, nor from passive waiting, nor from land compensation. Without rational peace, it will lead to more cruel war. True peace should take compassion, wisdom, equality and selflessness as the core and starting point, and face the wave of economic globalization, instead of bullying the weak and bullying the small with the big; In the face of disputes and conflicts that occur from time to time, we should not use force to create disasters because of high emotions, but should maintain world peace through dialogue rather than confrontation and communication rather than conflict.

Peace is composed of countless healthy, positive and progressive conditions and factors such as kindness, morality, sincerity and kindness. Therefore, peace-building is not a matter of one person, one family, one nation, one society, one country or one religious belief, but a common cause of the whole world and all mankind. But we must never shirk the responsibility for peace to others, wait for the future or place our hopes on the arrangement of the goddess of peace. Everything depends on yourself, starting from the good deeds around you and influencing others with good deeds. Even a word of concern, a modest kindness, an unexpected rescue, an insignificant little thing, and a little love support will condense into a sunshine avenue leading to peace.

World peace is based on the peace of human mind, and it is a long process of stopping evil, doing good and purifying the mind. A Buddhist who abides by the five precepts and ten good deeds is the foundation for promoting human peace. Respect for the sanctity and equality of individual life, not killing is the first commandment. Cherish every sentient life, including human beings and other animals such as birds, beasts and fish. In the chain of ecological balance, human beings and animals are a continuous cycle. From the perspective of causality as a whole, killing the heart is an essential factor for world peace. There is a poem about the prohibition of killing, which says: "For thousands of years, the grievances in a bowl of soup are as deep as the hatred in the sea;" If you want to know the sword robbery in the world, just listen to the sound of the butcher shop at midnight. " In other words, killing is the cause of war, and only by persisting in not killing can the world get peace. But not killing is by no means a negative "no". For example, if an evil person wants to carry out terrorist activities, countless sentient beings will suffer. If this wicked man is not punished, all living beings will suffer more tragedies, then this wicked man certainly deserves it, and his evil deeds should be stopped. Misconduct such as theft, fornication, lying, slang, two tongues, bad mouth and so on make the world chaotic and restless, and lawsuits continue; Drinking alcohol will confuse the mind, cause trouble, cause murder, theft, fornication and madness. Therefore, the Five Commandments are the foundation of human peace.

Fifth, the purification of internal and external causes has created permanent peace for mankind.

Throughout the ages, human society has been wandering in the flow of gathering, dispersing and joys and sorrows. The accumulation and dissipation of wealth, the competition and loss of fame and fortune, the prosperity and decline of the nation, the civilization and ignorance of the society, and the peace and war of the country all occur, develop and even die in a world of relative origin. Searching human history, we will find that the world is a collection of suffering, and this kind of "suffering" exists according to human beings themselves. Physiologically, life is a torment of birth, old age, illness and death; In the social aspect, there are political disputes, social unrest and war damage caused by the pain of love separation and resentment; Naturally, there are hardships caused by wind and rain, frequent droughts and floods, and insufficient food. The Buddha summed up all the great sufferings in the world as five bitter passions.

Color, acceptance, thinking, action and knowledge constitute the sentient self. In this unity of spirit and matter, people intuitively believe that there is a true self. So, everything is self-centered, with what I have as the radius, and a photo of me seems to be true. In my opinion, these four fundamental worries, I love, I am slow and I am crazy, are the root causes of world turmoil. There are many lawsuits and endless discussions due to inherent prejudice, prejudice, reversed opinions and Jaken's self-awareness. The materialistic desire for love and the greedy love between men and women make human beings fall into the abyss of desire and cannot extricate themselves. Rely on one's power, wealth, knowledge, intelligence, etc. To surpass others, and bully him by yourself, despise everything and be arrogant. The secret of watching, loving and worrying slowly is the ignorance, inversion and confusion of human self-desire. Everyone intuitively has my idiot. It is because of me that there is no human peace in the world. Therefore, we say: the greatest enemy of mankind is ourselves.

Although human beings have their own defects and fundamental troubles, they are not without hope. The Buddha prescribed a good prescription for world peace. And called for the establishment of a peaceful, democratic and civilized social order in the political system; In the fields of economic construction and science and technology, we should keep the balance between wealth and profit, keep up with the pace of development and improve quality; In legal education and other ideological fields, everyone is equal. Equality, freedom and unity of political, economic and legal systems are the basic conditions for human peace. If we further seek the ultimate peace, we must complete it by purifying ourselves, purifying all beings and purifying the world. The Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra tells us that "the five aggregates are empty, and the hardships are sweet." "According to Prajna Paramita, there is no obstacle in my heart, no obstacle and no fear, and I am far away from the inverted dream. What is nirvana?" Nirvana means stop, rest, silence and stability. After all, Nirvana is the purest and most peaceful realm, and all troubles, slow nirvana, greed and persistence are transformed into other laws, thus achieving permanent peace in the world.
