The first person to reprint this incident was Huashang.com. This kind of news that contains both star information and complex connotations has attracted many media. Many domestic websites, BBS, blogs and media have been involved in this controversy.

Although Qiu Chaoju's blog and the Chongqing Evening News report replaced Sun Li with "sl" and replaced Xiang Haiqing with "Zhang Haiqing", they also concealed the "Shanghai Fisheries University" where he studied. However, netizens quickly exposed the recipients’ true circumstances and schools through human flesh searches.

Although the whistleblower Qiu Chaoju’s Tianya blog, the Chongqing Evening News report, and the Huashang.com reprint did not intend to accuse the donors and recipients, netizens are obviously unwilling to explore on the Internet what sociologists should do. research topic. The "star effect" makes public opinion almost one-sided.

One party involved, Xiang Haiqing, became the target of public criticism. The main opinions against him are: he has a dependent mentality and only asks for help from others without trying to save himself; seeing that the Sun family is rich, he is a little psychologically unbalanced and feels that it doesn't matter if he spends more; telling Qiu Chaoju what happened between them is a bit repaying kindness with enmity. .
