Malaysian folk customs~~

Traditionally, Malays believe that the left hand is a symbol of uncleanness. Do not extend your hand to a lady first to ask for a handshake, and do not point your index finger at anyone casually. It is taboo for Malays to touch their heads. Except for teachers and religious ceremonies, you are not allowed to touch the back of Malays at will. When interacting with each other, the clothes must be neat. If you are wearing slippers when visiting someone else's home, you must take them off and leave them at the door. When visiting a mosque, please note that non-Muslims are required to take off their shoes before entering the mosque. When visiting temples, women should dress in such a way that their arms and feet are not exposed. Do not pass in front of a Muslim who is praying. No photography is allowed and no Koran is allowed to be touched without permission.
