What if there is no news from the informant after reporting the case?

After the alarm, if there is no news of the informant, the public security organ will try to contact the informant. If it is a false report, the responsibility will be investigated; If the report is true, the informant can only leave after filing a case and recording a confession.

The conditions for filing a case are as follows:

1, there are criminal facts, that is, the case has been accepted, and the criminal suspect's behavior has violated the criminal law, which constitutes a crime;

2, need to be investigated for criminal responsibility, that is, criminal suspects need to be punished according to law;

3. Territorial jurisdiction. The public security organs can only have jurisdiction over cases under their jurisdiction as prescribed by law.

When a public security organ or a people's procuratorate discovers a criminal fact or a criminal suspect, it shall file a case for investigation within its jurisdiction.

Public security organs, people's procuratorates or people's courts shall accept reports, complaints and reports. If it does not belong to its own jurisdiction, it shall be transferred to the competent authority for handling, and the informant, complainant and informant shall be notified; For those who are not under their jurisdiction and must take emergency measures, they should take emergency measures first and then transfer them to the competent department.

Where a criminal surrenders himself to a public security organ, a people's procuratorate or a people's court, the provisions of the third paragraph shall apply.
