Functions and characteristics of 5g module

The core of 5G chip is baseband and RF chip, and 5G module is based on 5G chip. According to different requirements, memory chips, sensors, capacitors and resistors are added outside the baseband and RF chips, and then integrated. The 5G module adopts the parallel development mode of generalization and specialization. The generalization module locates a unified standard application scenario and has different bandwidth support capabilities. The customization module locates different customers in the market.

The fifth generation mobile communication technology (5G for short) is a new generation broadband mobile communication technology, which has the characteristics of high speed, low delay and large connection, and is the network infrastructure to realize man-machine interconnection.

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has defined three major application scenarios of 5G, namely, Enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB), Ultra-high Reliability and Low Delay Communication (uRLLC) and Mass Machine Communication (mMTC). Enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB) mainly aims at the explosive growth of mobile Internet traffic, and provides a more extreme application experience for mobile Internet users. Ultra-high-reliability and low-delay communication (uRLLC) is mainly used in vertical industries that require high delay and reliability, such as industrial control, telemedicine and autonomous driving. Mass machine communication (mMTC) is mainly aimed at smart city, smart home, environmental monitoring and other application requirements for sensing and data acquisition.
