At the same time, according to the statistics of fire data over the years, due to poor safety awareness and strong curiosity, such fires frequently occur around campus, woodland, rural stacking, roads around scenic spots, large parking lots in scenic spots, remote processing factories and other areas, and even have casualties and heavy property losses. In order to do a good job in the prevention and control of catkin fire in our city this year, the relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

First, strengthen the organization and leadership of the fire prevention and control work of poplar catkins. Departments at all levels should learn from the successful experience of "epidemic prevention and control" and "Tomb-Sweeping Day" fire prevention and control work, mobilize and deploy at all levels through special education, radio publicity, compact the responsibilities of departments at all levels, especially the "village committees", and effectively convey the harm and prevention and control requirements of catkin fires to the most basic level. At the same time, the education department should take advantage of the opportunity of the upcoming school term to open the "first safety class", increase the publicity and education for students, and convey it to all students, reminding them not to light catkins during their study at school, on their way to and from school, and on an outing.

Second, strengthen the management of special places. All levels and departments should take effective measures to increase the management of catkin landing and accumulation according to the specific situation. Organize special personnel to clean up ditches, green belts, parking lots, fence roots and other related areas around the road in time to prevent catkin accumulation and prevent similar fires from happening at the source.

Third, do a good job in emergency response. All departments and units at all levels should do a good job in maintaining the existing fire-fighting facilities and equipment, strengthen the training of fire-fighting skills of relevant personnel, ensure that once a similar fire occurs, it can be quickly disposed of in the first time, and resolutely avoid the spread and expansion of the fire.

Fourth, multi-channel publicity and launching, and all-round deployment of prevention and control. We should fully combine newspapers and magazines, building advertisements, community bulletin boards, outdoor electronic screens, publicity vehicles and other traditional means. With the help of modern technologies such as WeChat and Weibo, we can realize the publicity of "no dead ends, full coverage". The education department should give full play to the role of "hand in hand", educate primary and secondary school students to publicize the fire knowledge they have learned to their relatives, friends and neighbors, and really play the role of "educating a student, promoting a family, educating a school and promoting a region".
