How to set the privacy of pictures and text messages in vivoS3+ mobile phone? Do I need to get root privileges?

There are two ways to set the SMS password:

(1) Enter the SMS interface, select the SMS to be encrypted and press it to pop up the dialog box, and select "Encryption Session" to pop up the password input dialog box (if the password has been set in the SMS settings first, a new password input dialog box will not pop up, and the encrypted one will be displayed directly). Just enter a new password.

(2) After entering the SMS interface, press the left function key, select "Settings" to enter, and click the "Set Password" button. If a password has been set for a message before, after clicking the "Set Password" button, you need to enter the current password (the password of the previously set message) before you can enter a new password. After modification, the original information password will also be synchronized into a new password. Then press 1 to select the short message to be encrypted.

Our smartphone doesn't have open root right at present. There are two main reasons:

Therefore, it is not recommended to operate this function, otherwise it will easily lead to serious consequences, and the hardware problems caused by root will not be guaranteed after sale.
