What will happen if I don't reply to the pre-admission text message?

If the message you receive only tells you that you are pre-admitted, there will be no consequences if you don't reply. As long as you agree to change your major, you will basically be admitted.

However, if there is something in the short message that asks you to reply whether you are admitted or not, you must reply, otherwise you may not be admitted.
