The Chinese University of Hong Kong does not carry out independent enrollment. You can fill in your application for the Chinese University of Hong Kong in the advance batch of the college entrance examination

Note:

Please apply in the afternoon of December 22, 2011 Complete the online application and payment for the "Admission Plan" before 6:00 p.m. If the online payment fails, you can submit an online application first, then pay by remittance (remittance instructions), and send the original remittance slip or money order before December 22, 2011 (please keep a copy). Late payment will affect the assessment of written examination qualifications.

Applicants who complete the above steps will automatically be considered for the "Admission Plan" regardless of whether they are selected for the "Joint Examination" written test, interview and bonus points, and do not need to pay any application fees.

2. Selection Procedure

1. Preliminary selection: Based on the candidates’ registration materials, the University of Hong Kong will conduct a preliminary review, and those who pass the exam will be qualified for the written examination.

2. Written test: held simultaneously in each province (candidates can choose the nearest one, and once confirmed, no change is allowed)

(1) Written test time: February 11, 2012

(2) Written test subjects:

Science: Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry (100 points for each subject ***500 points)

Liberal arts: Chinese, mathematics , English, history, politics (100 points for each subject ***500 points)

3. Selection principles

The University of Hong Kong will conduct a preliminary review of the application materials of applicants for the "Joint Examination", and those who pass the examination will be eligible for the written examination. The university will decide on candidates for interviews based on the scores in the written test, and ultimately determine the results of the "joint examination" based on the combined scores of the interview and written test.

4. Preferential Policies

Successful candidates of this "Joint Examination" can receive extra points from our school in designated majors, and these extra points are only applicable to that major. Students cannot apply to transfer the extra points to other majors, and these extra points are only applicable to students admitted to HKU. The extra points will only be valid if students take the 2012 college entrance examination. Bonus points can reach up to 30 points.

3. Initial review notice: December 30, 2011 on the "Comprehensive University Independent Selection and Admissions Joint Examination Registration Platform" Check the preliminary results online.

4. Written test notice: Candidates who pass the preliminary examination will print the written test notice on the "China Comprehensive University Independent Selection and Admission Joint Examination Registration Platform" in mid-January 2012.

In 2012, the above-mentioned universities will continue to jointly propose independent selection and admissions , Unified organization of written examinations and sharing of examination results.

Each candidate can apply to up to 3 colleges and universities. The colleges and universities you applied for are in parallel relationship with each other, and your application is in no particular order. Each university conducts an independent preliminary review based on the application materials submitted by the candidates, and those who pass the examination are eligible to participate in the comprehensive university independent selection and admission joint examination. The interview times of each university should be staggered as much as possible.

This joint examination was held simultaneously in all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the country on February 11, 2012. ***Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry, history, politics (each subject is 100 points) seven-subject examination. Chinese and mathematics exams will be held in the morning, and English, physics, chemistry, history, and politics exams will be held in the afternoon (arts and sciences are separated). Each university decides on its own what subjects it requires to be tested and how the results are used.
