Postal Express Loss Compensation Standard 2022

First, the compensation standard for express delivery:

1, the new postal law can only compensate for three times the freight.

2. Some express delivery (logistics) companies have transport clauses on the waybill (back), which are generally mentioned above, saying that the freight is 2- 10 times, and some compensate according to the weight of the consignment, such as 20 yuan per kilogram. Every courier company is different.

Many courier companies also provide additional insurance services, which are divided into insured and insurance. Insured price means how much to pay, and the rate is generally a few percent of the value of the goods (1-5), which is relatively expensive; Insurance adopts the traditional freight insurance clauses of commercial insurance companies, with a rate of several thousandths (1-8) and a certain percentage of deductible, which means that the loss is not fully paid. In the express delivery business, most people use insured prices for goods that really need insured prices.

Second, the domestic standard of compensation for express mail:

1. If the insured mail is lost, damaged or short, compensation shall be made according to the actual loss value, but the maximum amount shall not exceed the insured amount of the relevant mail;

3. The Company will not be responsible for other losses or indirect losses. If the mail is delayed because the sender fills in the receiving address, sender's name and address, and contact telephone number incompletely or incorrectly, the company will not be liable for compensation.

5. If the mail is lost or damaged, in addition to compensation according to relevant regulations, the postage and special inquiry fees already collected will be refunded.
