The policy of Shandong Province’s retired soldiers who are exempted from the examination and promoted to junior college is introduced as follows:

1. Enrollment targets

Retired college students soldiers who are recruiting in our province.

2. Application conditions

(1) Candidates must meet the following conditions at the same time:

1. Abide by the Constitution and laws of the People's Republic of China.

2. No compulsory measures have been taken by relevant departments or are serving sentences for violating criminal laws.

3. Have not been suspended from participating in college admissions examinations due to violation of national education examination regulations and are within the suspension period.

4. No demerit or above disciplinary punishment at the junior college stage or the punishment has been lifted before registration.

5. Good health.

6. Retired college student soldiers who are recruiting in our province (referring to general college graduates and current students who are recruited to serve in the army and then retire, and who are fresh graduates in 2022 or who have obtained a college diploma at the time of registration) Past graduates, hereinafter referred to as retired college soldier candidates).

3. Admissions

According to the spirit of the "Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education on the Enrollment of the 2022 Junior College Upgrading Examination for General Colleges and Universities" (Teaching Hall [2021] No. 8), Retired college student soldiers candidates are exempted from taking the cultural examinations organized by the province, and can apply for admission to relevant colleges and universities. Retired college students and soldiers who are exempted from the examination and promoted to a bachelor's degree and the province's unified examination are not allowed to apply at the same time. Retired college students and soldiers who apply for the province's unified examination to upgrade to a bachelor's degree are no longer eligible for the policy of exempting themselves from a junior college to a bachelor's degree.

(1) Obtaining qualifications. Candidates applying for the qualifications of retired college student soldiers must apply for qualification review online through the information platform from March 2 to 3, 2022, and submit their ID cards, college diplomas (fresh candidates must submit student status certificates issued by the school they attend), Retired from active service certificates, certificates of place of enlistment issued by the Ministry of Armed Forces, medals and certificates for meritorious service and other materials shall be reviewed by the municipal admissions and examination department and the retired military affairs department, and announced by the Provincial Education Admissions and Examination Authority, and then qualified as retired college soldier candidates.

(2) Choose a major. When applying for qualification review, retired college student soldier candidates must choose an undergraduate admissions major corresponding to their junior college graduation major based on the professional guidance catalog.

(3) Enrollment plan. Based on the registration and major selection status of retired college student soldier candidates, a sufficient number of retired college soldier candidates will be arranged for the exam-free admissions program to junior college (hereinafter referred to as the exam-free admissions plan).

(4) College enrollment.

1. Admissions colleges and universities should publish the examination-free admissions plan for junior college-level undergraduate students through the school’s official website within three days after the announcement of the exam-free admissions plan. According to the needs of epidemic prevention and control, comprehensive examinations can be organized online. Retired college student soldier candidates who have achieved third-class merit or above during their service are exempted from the comprehensive examination, and will be fully admitted by the recruiting colleges and universities based on the candidates' chosen majors. (The policy for exempting college student soldiers who have achieved third-class meritorious service or above during their service shall be implemented in accordance with this article. If it is inconsistent with the provisions of this article, this article shall prevail.)

2. On March 18, retired college student soldiers candidates can Choose a major and an exam-free admissions plan, and choose a college for enrollment. The comprehensive examination organized by colleges and universities is scheduled from March 26th to 27th.

3. Admissions colleges and universities will carry out examination-free admissions to junior college based on the candidates' registration status by major. If the number of retired college student soldiers applying for the major does not exceed the exam-free enrollment plan, full admission will be granted; if the number of retired college student soldiers applying for the major exceeds the exam-free enrollment plan, the professional adaptability or career adaptability of the major should be organized according to the professional talent training requirements. Comprehensive examination of vocational skills. Based on the examination results and the candidates' performance in school and service, the candidates will be selected for admission.

4. Candidates who are not admitted in the first round of application can fill in the first call for application and whether to comply with the adjustment application on April 1st. Candidates who are recruiting volunteers must participate in the admissions again according to the admissions plan for junior college to bachelor's degree without examination at the registered university. The school's comprehensive examination time is scheduled from April 9th ??to 10th.
