In ancient times, the longevity hall was usually decorated in the middle of the wall of the main hall. An Antarctic Immortal is hung on the birthday cake, and the Queen Mother of Yaochi is hung on the female birthday cake; or scrolls symbolizing longevity such as the Eight Immortals celebrating birthdays and the Three Stars Picture are hung; or a large Chinese character "Longevity" is cut out from gold paper and hung in the middle of the auditorium, with a ceremony table in the middle. On display are longevity peaches, longevity cakes, longevity noodles, fragrant flowers, fruits, etc. A red worship mat is placed on the ground for future generations to salute.

All in all, birthday preparations are very important, as they represent everyone’s blessings and the gratitude of the person celebrating the birthday to the person wishing the birthday.
