Can WeChat back up SMS and WeChat chat records?

Wechat can't back up mobile phone messages, but it can back up WeChat chat records. Steps:

Open WeChat, enter the settings bar, and select General;

Select chat record migration in the open general window;

Select Upload in the chat record migration window that opens;

Select the chat record of the object to upload, click Select All, and then click Finish;

The password setting window will appear. You can set the password to upload or upload it directly.

The next step is to upload. Chat records can be saved for 7 days, and can be transferred to other devices within 7 days.
