Legal basis: Notice on preventing minors from indulging in online games.

Article 1 Online game user accounts shall be registered with real names. All online game users must use valid identity information to register game accounts. From the date of implementation of this notice, online game enterprises shall establish and implement a real-name registration system for users, and shall not provide game services to new users who have not registered their real names in any form. Within 2 months from the date of implementation of this notice, online game enterprises must require all existing users to complete real-name registration and stop providing game services to users who have not completed real-name registration. Online game enterprises must properly preserve and protect the real-name registration information provided by users in strict accordance with relevant laws and regulations, and may not use it for other purposes. Online game companies can set a tourist experience mode of no more than 1 hour for their game services. In the travel experience mode, users do not need to register with their real names, nor can they recharge and pay for consumption. For users who use the same hardware equipment, online game enterprises shall not provide the tourist experience mode repeatedly within 15 days.

Article 2 Strictly control the time and duration for minors to use online games. From 22: 00 every day to 8: 00 the next day, online game enterprises may not provide game services for minors in any form. The duration of online game enterprises providing game services to minors shall not exceed 3 hours per day on legal holidays, and shall not exceed 1.5 hours per day at other times.
