The main responsibilities of the US Food and Drug Administration in Guangdong

(a) to implement the national and provincial guidelines, policies, laws and regulations on food safety (including food additives, health foods and alcoholic foods, the same below), drugs (including traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicines, the same below), medical devices and cosmetics, be responsible for drafting relevant local regulations, promote the establishment of a mechanism to implement the main responsibility of food and drug safety enterprises and the overall responsibility of municipal and county people's governments, and establish a direct reporting system for food and drug major information. (two) responsible for the administrative licensing, supervision and management of food, food safety management norms and organize their implementation. Establish a mechanism for the investigation and management of food safety hazards, and implement the national annual plan for food safety inspection and major rectification and management programs. Guide and organize food safety publicity and information release, and uniformly release major food safety information; Organize and carry out major special management and comprehensive inspection of food safety. Participate in the formulation of food safety risk monitoring plan and food safety standards, and carry out food safety risk monitoring according to the food safety risk monitoring plan.

(three) to supervise the implementation of national pharmacopoeia and other standards and classification management systems for drugs and medical devices. Supervise the implementation of quality management standards for research and development, production, management and use of drugs and medical devices. Responsible for the registration, supervision and inspection of drugs and medical devices. Establish a monitoring system for adverse drug reactions and medical device adverse events, and carry out monitoring and disposal. Guide and supervise the registration of licensed pharmacists. Participate in the formulation of the list of essential drugs and cooperate with relevant departments to implement the national system of essential drugs. Responsible for the administrative licensing, supervision and management of drugs, medical devices and cosmetics, and organize the implementation of relevant quality management standards.

(four) responsible for the development of the province's food, medicine, medical equipment, cosmetics supervision and management of the inspection system and organize the implementation, organize the investigation of cross-regional or major violations. Supervise the implementation of the recall and disposal system of defective products. (five) responsible for the construction of emergency system for food and drug safety accidents, organize and guide the emergency disposal and investigation and handling of food and drug safety accidents, and supervise the implementation of accident investigation. (six) responsible for the development and implementation of food and drug safety science and technology in the province, and promote the food and drug inspection and testing system, electronic supervision traceability system and information construction. (seven) responsible for food and drug safety publicity, education and training, foreign exchanges and cooperation. Promote the construction of the credit system. (eight) to guide the food and drug supervision and management in cities and counties, standardize the administrative law enforcement behavior, and improve the linkage mechanism between administrative law enforcement and criminal justice. (nine) to guide the scientific research experiments, clinical trials and inspections of food, drugs, medical devices and cosmetics, and to guide the evaluation of certification bodies. (ten) to undertake the daily work of the Provincial Food Safety Committee, be responsible for the comprehensive coordination of food safety supervision and management, and promote and improve the coordination and linkage mechanism. Supervise and inspect the performance of food and drug safety supervision and management responsibilities by relevant provincial departments and prefecture-level listed people's governments, and be responsible for the assessment.

(eleven) to undertake other tasks assigned by the provincial people's government, China Food and Drug Administration and the Provincial Food Safety Committee.
