Twelfth electronic documents formed by computer marriage registration shall be filed together with paper documents. For filing requirements, please refer to the Specification for Archiving and Management of Electronic Documents (GB/T 18894-2002).

Thirteenth marriage registration files shall be kept for 100 years. For those with continued preservation value, the preservation period can be extended to permanent preservation.

Fifteenth the use of marriage registration files shall comply with the following provisions:

(a) the marriage registration file storage department shall establish a file utilization system, clearly handle the procedures, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the parties;

(two) the marriage registration authority can use the marriage registration files handed over by it;

(3) The parties to a marriage may consult their marriage registration files if they hold legal identity documents; If the parties to a marriage are unable to consult in person for some reason, they may apply for a power of attorney and entrust others to handle it on their behalf. The power of attorney shall be notarized by a notary office;

(four) the people's court, the people's Procuratorate, the public security department to confirm the marriage relationship, with the unit letter of introduction can consult the marriage registration files; Lawyers and other agents ad litem can consult the marriage registration files related to litigation with the supporting materials issued by the court accepting the case and their valid certificates;

(five) other units, organizations and individuals request to consult the marriage registration files, and the marriage registration file storage department can use them after verifying the reasonable purpose of their use;

(six) units, organizations and individuals that use marriage registration files shall not disclose the contents of marriage registration files, and shall not harm the legitimate rights and interests of the parties involved in marriage registration;

(seven) the marriage registration file shall not be borrowed, and can only be borrowed on the spot; The copied marriage registration file must be stamped with the seal of the marriage registration file keeping department to be valid.

Article 16 The identification and destruction of marriage registration files shall meet the following requirements:

(1) The custody department of marriage registration files shall appraise the value of the files whose custody period has expired, and destroy those with no preservation value, but the directory of marriage registration files shall be permanently preserved.

(2) A list of destroyed marriage registration files shall be established, indicating the time, type and quantity of destroyed files, and kept permanently.

(3) The custody department of marriage registration files shall send someone to supervise the destruction process of marriage registration files, ensure that the destroyed files are not omitted or lost, and sign the destruction list.
