Then, he said loudly, "This well digs your eyes. A true gentleman goes to the Western Ocean, plants it in a papaya tree and flies everywhere." Afterwards, he left the temple. The little monk was very strange, so he forgot to tell his master what he had just seen. The host is also a Taoist, so let the young monk lead the way to the place where the weirdo drew a circle and look carefully. I saw two circles drawn on the ground vaguely showing the dragon. The abbot asked the young monk again, what did the man say? The young monk told the host these four sentences. Knowing that it was a strange touch, he quickly asked the young monk to take a shovel and dig down according to the lines in the painting. Before he reached three feet, he saw two places bubbling at the same time. Soon, the water in the two places rose at the same time, and the two waters became a rainbow. Under the sunlight, these seven colors are red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple, which are very beautiful. The monk learned that it was a divine spring, and that strange people would appear in the Big Buddha Temple in the future, with their hands folded and silently praying to heaven. After the well is dug, the wellhead is five feet and four inches long, with square bricks for the well wall and marble for the well site, and the water depth is four feet and five inches. Whether in winter or summer, the water here is always full and inexhaustible. These two wells are connected. When an apple falls here, it goes to another well. Using this well water to decoct medicine can cure diseases, and using this water to decoct seven kinds of Chinese medicines for bathing is called the "Seven Fragrant Soups" of Buddhism. A few years later, it was early spring in April, and around Tomb-Sweeping Day in March of the lunar calendar, willows sprouted and springs gurgled in the temple. Tourists from far and near have come to the temple to worship Buddha and visit the temple, which is very lively. At this time, two spectators came. They took a seedling and planted it on the left side of the Buddha Temple. Under the careful care of the monks in the temple, the weather has been good for several years, and several round green fruits have been produced. In August and September, the fruit is yellow and fragrant. Everyone I know says it's papaya. In autumn, the papaya on the papaya tree suddenly has a strong fragrance, and the temple is full of fragrance. At this time, several young Mongolian men came and carried a gorgeous sedan chair. There is a beautiful young woman sitting in the sedan chair. The young woman was wearing very noble Mongolian clothes, which they claimed to give her. In the middle of the night, my wife suddenly had a stomachache and saw the fragrance in the temple. Papaya tree is also papaya golden, Dapeng flies in the sky and flies back and forth around the temple. After a while, in the house where the woman lived, she heard the child crying and fear. The aristocratic woman gave birth to a very strong child, the later Mongolian emperor Kublai Khan. This lady is the mother of Kublai Khan, Queen Beji. Three days after the baby was born, the monks in the temple bathed the child with water from their eye wells, which is a folk custom of "three washes". Because of the magic of Eye Well and papaya tree, good men and women who come and go in the future will use Eye Well to make tea, take a bath and decoct medicine. The eye well in the temple, the hexagonal pavilion and tripod in the papaya tree and the Golden Pagoda, are fairyland on earth under the sunshine in the morning and evening.
