(1) Clothing

Male ABAC University stipulates that undergraduate students must wear school uniforms on campus, a tie and belt with the AU school logo, and black leather shoes. Pure white long-sleeved or short-sleeved shirt, black long trousers. You are free to wear your own casual clothes, sneakers, and slippers outside the campus. Prepare 1 spring and autumn shirt (the air-conditioning in the classroom is very strong, and it will get very cold after a long time)

For girls, pure white ordinary short-sleeved shirts, black long skirts or short skirts. If you have ready-made ones in China, you can bring them, but you need to go to the school bookstore to buy the buttons with the ABAC school logo and replace them. It also comes with a school badge and belt, which must be purchased and worn for exams. White shirts and black skirts are available near the school. In addition, classrooms are generally cold, so you can prepare a few thin coats.

Leather shoes or sandals can be worn on campus, but sandals cannot be worn like slippers. You must wear black leather shoes when entering the examination room. There is no need to prepare too much for other daily necessities. There are several large supermarkets near the school, and 24-hour convenience stores such as 7-11 and FamilyMart are everywhere.

(2) Learning

1. Wenquxing, Kuaiyitong and other electronic dictionaries can be considered to bring. It is also recommended that students bring reference books related to their chosen majors and English-Chinese, Chinese English bilingual dictionary.

2. Notebook and supporting items (recommended to bring, necessary for making reports, surfing the Internet and keeping in touch with family members). If students who live in the Bangna campus bring their own laptops, they also need to bring their own network cable. There is a broadband interface for Internet access in the dormitory.

(3) Others

1. Some commonly used medicines can be prepared for students when they first arrive in Thailand. Such as: anti-inflammatory medicine, cold medicine, medicine to relieve internal heat, antipyretic medicine, antidiarrheal medicine, vitamin C, thermometer, band-aid, anti-allergy medicine, safflower oil, toothache medicine, stomach medicine, cooling eye drops. There is an infirmary on campus. For more severe cases, you can go to a hospital near the school. The cost of medical treatment is basically covered by Health Insurance.

2. Electric heating cups, electric mosquito coils, mosquito repellents and other commonly used anti-mosquito supplies, hair dryers, alarm clocks, and electric kettles. Single large bed sheet, 2 sets of pillowcases, and a thin blanket or air-conditioned quilt. The school has pads provided. Pillows and other supplies can be purchased locally. Thai supermarkets sell soap and washing powder, but not laundry soap. A spare pair of contact lenses and drops (such as myopia).

3. It is recommended that students bring their mobile phones and chargers. Buy a mobile phone card locally, plug it in and use it. One-way charges for mobile phones in Thailand. From Thailand, dial China Mobile 009-86-13xxxxxxxxx. To dial a domestic landline number in Thailand, use the 009 86 area code number, such as Shanghai 009-86-21-number. Remember not to add "0" before the area code). To send text messages back home from a Thai mobile phone, just add "86" in front of the mobile phone number.

After students buy a local phone card in Thailand, please call your family as soon as possible to report that you are safe. Remember: the number displayed on the family’s mobile phone when the student calls back home is not the student’s mobile phone number in Thailand. The student needs to record the mobile phone number first and inform the family during the call.

4. How to recharge your mobile phone HowtoRefill?

HAPPY recharge card (RefillCard or Top-UpCard) has denominations of 50B, 60B, 200B, 300B, and 400B.

Things to note

1. Keep your luggage as simple as possible. Checked baggage regulations: 40 kilograms for first class and 20 kilograms for ordinary class. Scissors, fruit knives, and liquids exceeding 100ml in a single bottle should be checked in and not carried with you.

2. Please carry cash and valuables with you and do not check them in. The amount of cash you bring should be according to the amount on the admission notice. The total amount should not exceed 20,000 RMB plus US$5,000. Please ask students to place each RMB in the country neatly facing up and in the same direction.

3. Keep 300RMB in your pocket so that you can exchange some Thai Baht at the airport for backup after arriving in Bangkok.

4. Students need to fill in an exit card when leaving the country, and fill in an entry card when entering the country (pick it up on the plane). We have samples for students to refer to. Carry a pen with you. Students going to Thailand are advised to keep China Mobile active until they board the plane. If possible, please activate international roaming so that you can contact your family in time when you arrive in Thailand. After new students arrive in Thailand, if they have any questions about airport pick-up, registration, accommodation, etc., please contact the teacher in charge.

5. After the new students arrive in Thailand and complete all customs clearance procedures, if the students cannot see the school pick-up teacher in time, they must not leave alone and run to other places.
