According to the latest regulations, the after-sales consultant of the original manufacturer or 4S shop often reminds the owner that "if you don't come to the 4S shop for maintenance, we won't be responsible for any problems and we can't provide warranty service". There is no actual legal basis for this point in the future. During the three-guarantee period, consumers can go to the 4S shop for maintenance even if they are not at the authorized maintenance point or the 4S shop. Manufacturers and dealers should inform consumers to use, maintain and repair cars according to the instruction manual. As for whether consumers choose the 4s shop authorized by the manufacturer, that is their freedom. As long as it is used and maintained correctly according to the instructions, the three guarantees policy cannot be denied because the owner has not done maintenance in the 4s shop.

This is not to say how the after-sales service of 4S stores is. What is really worthy of recognition is that the maintenance of the 4S shop is really professional and formal, with reliable accessories and warm and thoughtful service. But these are based on higher operating costs, so compared with general chain stores and repair shops, the fees are slightly higher. Therefore, the new regulations give car owners more freedom of choice. You can continue to choose 4S shops, repair shops, chain stores, etc., which is also conducive to establishing a good competitive and developing automobile market.

Personal recommendation

If you don't care about the difference in after-sales service, you can consider doing maintenance in 4S shop for a long time. After all, people's technical level and quality are guaranteed. If you don't want to spend too much money, you can also do maintenance outside the 4S shop, but you should also pay attention to choosing a shop with good reputation and good technical level, and use and maintain the vehicle according to the operation and maintenance instructions given by the manufacturer. In any case, manufacturers are obliged to provide quality assurance services.
