How long does it usually take to review credit cards?

If you apply for a CMB credit card through the counter, it usually takes 10 working days from the time your application materials are received by the auditing department to the time your credit card is audited. After approval, we will make a card for you within 2 working days, and then send it to you by registered mail according to the billing address. Generally, the sending time of registered letters is 15 days.

If we make an appointment online/by mobile phone, we need 7 working days for preliminary inspection. If the trial is successful, there are three situations: 1. The Commissioner will call you within 4 working days to arrange for issuing cards at home. 2. Send you a text message and go to any outlet of China Merchants Bank for a face-to-face interview within 30 days, and then issue the card after the face-to-face interview is passed. I will issue your card first, and then you can go to any China Merchants Bank to sign the activation card within 60 days.

If it fails, you will be notified by SMS. If you apply for a second card, you can generally check the application progress within 5 working days after submitting the application directly online. I suggest you pay attention to the inquiry in the future.
