Transportation in Dangshan County

Dangshan County is located at the junction of seven counties in the four provinces of Anhui, Jiangsu, Shandong and Henan. The Longhai Railway and National Highway 310 run through the entire territory, and the old course of the Yellow River lies in between. The Beijing-Kowloon Railway, Beijing-Shanghai Railway, Lianhuo Expressway, and National Highways 105 and 206 pass by. The Zhengzhou-Xu Passenger Dedicated Line and the Ji-Qi Expressway intersection run through the entire territory, forming a new traffic pattern in Dangshan. The county is 84 kilometers away from the historical city of Xuzhou to the east and 72 kilometers from the ancient capital Shangqiu to the west. Mangdang Mountain stands in front and the Yellow River is behind. In ancient times, it was the tooth lip of Bianjing and the gateway to Xuhuai. It is known as the thoroughfare of Jiuzhou and one of the important points in the world. It is said to be the only channel connecting Anhui Province to the Eurasian Continental Bridge.

High-speed Railway: Zhengzhou-Xu High-speed Railway

The Dangshan Section of the Zhengzhou-Xu Passenger Dedicated Line is under construction. The new Dangshan South Station is expected to be completed and operational in 2016.

Railway: Longhai Railway

The Longhai Railway, the national east-west artery, passes through Dangshan and sets up Dangshan Station. Dangshan is the only channel connecting Anhui Province to the Eurasian Continental Bridge.

Expressway: Ji-Qi Expressway

The Dangshan section of the Ji-Qi Expressway has also entered into substantial construction and will be connected to Lianhuo Expressway and Sixu Expressway after completion.
