Step 1: First, turn on Xiaomi mix3 mobile phone, find the setting options on the mobile phone desktop screen and turn it on.

Step 2: After entering the settings, we then select the lock screen, password and fingerprint, as shown in the figure below.

Step 3: In the screen lock, password and fingerprint interface, we click the first fingerprint management, as shown below.

Step 4: Select the Add Fingerprint option in the fingerprint management interface. If the screen lock password is set, you must first enter the screen lock password, as shown below.

Step 5: After entering the fingerprint adding interface, put your finger on the fingerprint sensor on the screen, and then press the sensor until it vibrates and lifts your finger. Repeat this operation for different blocks of the same finger until the fingerprint is successfully input.

Step 6: After entering the fingerprint, click the "Finish" button below. After the screen is locked, touch the fingerprint sensor with the finger that entered the fingerprint to unlock the screen.

Step 7: When restarting the device or fingerprint identification fails, you can enter the screen lock password to unlock the mobile phone.
