Why is there no prompt for text messages from Samsung?

If there is no message tone when receiving a text message, we recommend that you:

1. Try to reset the text message ringtone: Message-Menu key-Settings-Notification check and select the ringtone.

2. Check whether the phone is in silent mode, pull down the top curtain to turn the sound green.

3. Set the mobile phone notification volume (Settings-Sound-Volume-Notifications, increase the notification volume).

4. Try changing other built-in system ringtones.

5. Please back up the data in the phone (contacts, text messages, pictures, etc.), and then restore the factory settings (Settings - Reset Settings/Privacy/Personal—Restore factory settings).

If the problem persists, please bring your purchase invoice, repair card and machine to the Samsung Service Center, where professional after-sales engineers will help detect it.
