How to read English abbreviations, letter by letter, or like words? I find that foreigners reading abbreviations is like reading lists.

In most cases, you can read letters directly, such as WHO and WTO.

But some conventions, such as APEC, are pronounced, er, Parker, but even if you read letters, people will understand.

SF has a small audience. I didn't react at first, and I didn't know what science fiction meant.

So when reading abbreviations, I personally suggest that you can explain them the first time and read the letters directly the second time.

So that others won't be confused.
