Restore SMS function

If your Redmi SMS disappears, or the Xiaomi SMS icon disappears, don't worry. The following methods can help you recover easily. Please follow the following steps.

Confirm mobile phone authority

First, make sure your phone doesn't have ROOT privileges. If necessary, you can use the powerful one-click ROOT software to get ROOT permission for Android phones.

Install data recovery software

Install the latest version of Mutual Shield mobile phone data recovery software on the computer and ensure it works normally.

Select recovery function

Open the software interface, and select the "USB flash drive camera card recovery" function, which is specially used to recover deleted short messages.

Scan mobile phone data

Select the mobile phone to be scanned, and click "Next" to start in-depth scanning of mobile phone data.

Find deleted messages

After scanning is completed, search the deleted SMS in the interface of the software. Locate the message you want to recover in the text format folder, and then click Next to save it.

Save the recovered SMS.

Finally, click Browse to select the saving location, and click Next to finish saving.

Search application

If your Xiaomi SMS icon disappears, you can go to Settings, search for applications, find information and start it to recover.

Restore factory settings

If the problem still exists, it is recommended to try to restore the factory settings after backing up personal data.

Go to after-sales inspection and maintenance.
