In life, people who destroy the environment can be seen anytime and anywhere: in the street, people spit everywhere, litter everywhere, let their pets defecate everywhere, pretend as if nothing had happened and have no guilt. People around you are also indifferent, as if nothing had happened; In the forest, people keep cutting down trees, making the lush forest become desolate flat land; Factory chimneys keep emitting black smoke, dyeing the whole sky black, causing great pollution to the urban environment ... Some human actions have turned clear rivers into garbage rivers, blue sky into gray sky, renewable resources into non-renewable resources ... If this continues, mankind will perish.

In this regard, the state has also taken some environmental protection measures, such as establishing nature reserves, strengthening the protection of natural forests and the construction of public welfare forests, formulating laws and regulations such as the Environmental Protection Law, the Marine Environmental Protection Law, the Water Pollution Prevention Law, and strengthening international cooperation, and so on, and has made great achievements.

In the past year, the school has carried out many activities related to environmental protection, encouraged students to plant more trees, issued the initiative of "using less plastic bags and staying away from white pollution", and taught us some environmental protection knowledge and common sense of life through blackboard newspapers, handwritten newspapers and billboards. As an "environmental guardian", I made a slide show in World Environment Day that day with the theme of "Protecting the environment and living a low-carbon life", which strengthened the students' awareness of environmental protection. Students also set up an "environmental protection group" to publicize the concept of environmental protection to more people and remind the general public to start from themselves, care for the environment and beautify their homes.
