Why is BAIC not optimistic?

Speaking of BAIC, there are many models and high technical conditions, but why is the sales volume average? Unclear positioning, far-sightedness, will eventually break away from ordinary people. Actually, when it comes to the model, regardless of the price, you really like this brand. In addition to the "pig nose" logo, the whole appearance tends to be tough guy style! BJ 100 launched at Beijing Auto Show is even more admirable!

Admittedly, the new car looks a lot like Hummer's plan, but it does give people a sense of Leng Yan. The front face is made of rectangular headlights, equipped with five small square grilles, and the lower side is two large air inlets and a dark gray guard plate, all of which make people look domineering!

The shape of the tail is very similar to that of the front car, and the two taillights are connected by thick and strong decorative plates. The trunk is designed with a hatchback, and the exhaust pipes are stationed in the suites on both sides, which is very distinctive!

The vehicle size is 4868/1993/1815 mm, and the wheelbase is 2900mm, which is defined as a medium and large SUV. The body adopts slip-back planning, and the waistline is firm and vertical, extending from front to back. Equipped with 22-inch five-spoke wheels, the chassis of the whole vehicle becomes very high, so an electric pedal is specially installed at the side skirt!

The new car adopts the opening mode of opposite doors, with 2+2 layout. As can be seen from the picture, there are central handrails in the front and rear rows, and they are equipped with a display screen, an LCD instrument panel and a control system. The sense of science and technology and luxury are integrated!

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a hybrid system, and it is expected to be equipped with a 2.8T turbocharged engine to match the full-time four-wheel drive. As a cross-country athlete, the body structure naturally adopts a non-loaded body, a front double wishbone torsion bar spring independent suspension and a rear five-bar spiral spring independent suspension!

Summary: From the positioning point of view, the combination of luxury and off-road should not be a problem for Land Rover, which is in the limelight. Unfortunately, BAIC will only stay in concept. If the existing Mercedes-Benz technology is used as the support of mass production, it must be Land Rover!
