It is necessary to plan and hold a series of activities around their respective industrial advantages and resource characteristics in the fields of economy, trade, tourism, culture, agriculture and information technology, aiming at deepening investment cooperation and exchanges.

Overseas guests and businessmen from more than 70 countries and regions, such as South Korea, Thailand and Singapore, as well as businessmen from more than 20 provinces in China, will participate in the conference by combining online and offline to promote the construction of the "Belt and Road" and enjoy new opportunities for international cooperation.

As the starting point of the ancient Silk Road and an important node of the "Belt and Road", Shaanxi Province is deepening reform and opening up in an all-round way and making efforts to build a new highland for inland reform and opening up. Shaanxi, which is open in the new era, contains new opportunities for cooperation and development. From August 14 to August 18, 2022, the People's Government of Shaanxi Province jointly held the 6th Silk Road International Expo.

The Expo is co-sponsored by the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Commerce of People's Republic of China (PRC), the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the State Administration of Market Supervision of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government.

The guest country of this Expo is Uzbekistan, the guest provinces are Jiangsu and Inner Mongolia, and the theme cities are Weinan and Ankang. There are 10 working organizations in the conference, and six pavilions, namely, International Pavilion, China Pavilion, Shaanxi Pavilion, Rural Revitalization Pavilion, Intelligent Manufacturing Pavilion and Green Industry Pavilion, have been set up in the An International Convention and Exhibition Center, with a total exhibition area of 72,000 square meters.
