At the launching ceremony, the first mascot of the freshman carnival was officially released, and a cute panda named "Guoguo" appeared on the stage. As the mascot and representative of "Dayi Carnival", the panda pot that loves tea will get together with tea lovers all over the world to taste the taste of tea, exchange tea culture and introduce the magical drinks from China to the world. In addition, the 20 13 dayi tea competition was officially launched on the same day. As the most influential, most extensive and most concerned activity of the carnival, after the first two sessions of deep cultivation and accumulation, Dayilun Tea has become the largest and most influential large-scale national tea lovers event in China. This year, the contest will take "I am crazy about tea" as the theme, and "watching dry tea, tasting tea soup and watching the bottom of leaves" as the main activities. The tea contest points will cover 28 cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Wuhan and 2 cities including Seoul and Busan in South Korea.

When asked why Dalian was chosen, the person in charge of the "Dayi Carnival" introduced that the reason why this year's carnival was chosen to land in Dalian was mainly because Dalian is the most famous tourist city in Northeast China, the fashion capital with relatively developed economic development, and it plays an important role in the whole Northeast China. It is the city that is the easiest to accept foreign things and has sufficient inclusive development nature. Although Dayi Carnival has been successfully held for two sessions, it is still a completely unfamiliar concept to Northeast China, including Pu 'er tea, which has only been recognized in recent years. Therefore, when Carnival enters the Northeast, it needs an economically developed, diversified and open city to accept it and lead a Pu 'er tea trend. Dalian is the best choice. Organizers hope that through the radiation effect of Dalian, more people in Northeast China will know about Pu 'er tea, fall in love with Pu 'er tea, and let Pu 'er tea go from the mountains to the seaside, becoming an indispensable healthy drink for the people in Northeast China.
