The species of wild medicinal materials under primary, secondary and tertiary protection are as follows:

Hunting and hunting management of national key protected wild medicinal materials are as follows:

4. The second-and third-class protected wild medicinal varieties belong to the varieties managed by the state plan, which are managed by China Medicinal Materials Company, and the remaining varieties are purchased by the production county medicinal materials company or other units as planned.

To sum up, the list of species of national key protected wild medicinal materials shall be formulated by the national pharmaceutical administrative department in conjunction with the administrative department of wildlife in the State Council. In addition to the list of species of wild medicinal materials under special state protection, it shall be formulated by the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, and copied to the state pharmaceutical administrative department for the record.
