Xingxin Community in Xing 'an District is located in the center of Xing 'an District, with a population of 2,274 households with 6,050 people, including teenagers under the age of 25 1625, including league members 1245. There are four groups of teenagers, including 18 poor families and 2 delinquent teenagers. In order to facilitate the work, community organizations mobilized five backbone youths to participate in the work of the Youth League. At the same time, the community has purchased cameras, cameras, printers, photocopiers and other facilities, established a library, and enriched the cultural life of young people. Over the past year, we have carried out a series of activities to serve young people around caring for vulnerable groups, strengthening ideological and moral construction of young people, boldly innovating and activating carriers.

First, in-depth publicity to improve the participation of young people.

In the practice of grasping the work of teenagers, we feel that: first of all, teenagers should learn to serve themselves, let themselves realize their value in service, and then serve others. This requires us to make full use of and integrate community resources, do a good job of publicity for young people, and gradually enhance their sense of service, in order to truly implement this work. The first is to innovate ideas and engage in publicity. We used the free time of students' holidays to send a notice to all primary and secondary schools to enter the countryside, which received enthusiastic response from teenagers. The number of teenagers involved reached 100. During the activities, teenagers not only learned what books can't, but also learned the consciousness of self-service, caring for others and being grateful. Such activities invisibly increase the publicity effect. The second is to innovate publicity methods. Through the contact with the school, we regularly carry out various educational and publicity activities aimed at young people on campus, so that young people can understand the essential differences between truth, goodness, beauty and falsehood, ugliness and ugliness, and enhance their ability to distinguish things. On holidays and when various performances or yangko competitions are held, we also display various talents of young people at the performance site and the main roads in our jurisdiction, including cartoon billboards and handwritten newspaper billboards. This kind of publicity is intuitive and easy to understand, and at the same time, we also let young people act as commentators to explain on the spot, which has received good results. Third, innovative forms of publicity. Establish a publicity group for youth self-help education to explain to the majority of young people how to help themselves and strive for self-improvement. We also make full use of community parents' schools to explain legal knowledge, and at the same time incorporate self-service education for teenagers to improve their self-service ability.

Second, enrich the content and enhance the attraction of the event.

The first is to create a "civilized tour group". A community "civilized visiting group" with "young backbone" as the main body, led by a Communist Youth League organization, aims at "doing small things, meddling, correcting mistakes, praising good deeds, and doing big things" to correct uncivilized phenomena in the community and publicize and report good deeds. During the tour, the community "civilized tour group" found that Liu Jia, a teenager from Hongqi No.1 Middle School, had divorced his parents and his mother was sentenced. She lives with her grandmother, so her family life is very difficult. So the community tour group reflected this problem to the Youth League branch, and Liu Jiacheng and I helped each other. Every time before school starts, we personally send her school supplies, out-of-season clothes, knitted love sweaters, and reduce tuition and fees to let her contact the school. Through civilized inspection and supervision, the new trend of "small things are done, things are managed, good things are praised, wrong things are corrected, big things are discussed, and big things are participated" has been achieved in the community.

The second is to form a "Youth Council". The community has determined that the "young backbone" personnel are responsible for the "evaluation meeting" and should "go to school well-actively study and develop in an all-round way; Be a good boy at home-be diligent and self-reliant and honor your elders; Be a good teenager in the community-be honest and trustworthy, abide by public morality "as the content, and organize a" review meeting "every quarter. How to spend 167 days? What should the community do for them? Faced with the problems of poor students in the jurisdiction who have no money to make up classes during holidays and children in dual-income families who are unattended, the community continues the second classroom (holiday counseling station) to realize "school holidays and community opening". The "Three Don 'ts" class we run means that students don't need tuition, teachers don't need lecture fees and classrooms don't need rent. Every winter and summer vacation, we employ retired community teachers, Professor Zhang, a youth culture class, pens, writing brushes, calligraphy and painting. Since it started in the summer of 2002, * * * has run eight classes, and 626 students have participated in the "Three Free Classes". Even if they have learned knowledge, they have enriched their holiday life and lightened their parents' burden. She turned to the service hotline organized by the Communist Youth League in the community for help. About two communist youth league secretaries in the community really rushed to her home immediately, donated money to her 100, and helped to contact and reduce cremation fees, properly handle the aftermath, and formed a helping pair with her. For example, after the child Liu Jia's former parents divorced, they both remarried. Her mother works in other places, and Liu Jia lives with her stepfather, which is very inconvenient. So I went to the "emotional room" in the community to express my feelings. Liu Jia has been handed over to his mother after many times of work by the Youth League Committee comrades. For example, Zhang Wei, a young man, went to the "emotional room" of the community and told his intimate sister about his difficulties. It turned out that Zhang Wei was admitted to the university in 2005, but her father suffered from eye diseases for many years, her mother was weak, and there was no money for her to go to college at home. * * * After learning this situation, the Youth League Committee immediately went to the resident unit for help. Three days later, Zhang Wei received a donation of more than 3,000 yuan, fulfilling Zhang Wei's university dream.

The fifth is to set up a community "three-point school". Parents have a long time off work.

It's usually 5 pm, but the children finish school at 2: 30. What should I do during this time? In order to solve this problem that worries many parents, the community organized a free "three-point school" similar to a trusteeship class to fill the vacuum of children after school. Let the students come to the "three school" after school, finish their homework first, and then play together. "Three o'clock School" has become an important activity place for children after school.

Third, relying on strength to carry out love rescue activities.

The first is to establish a "love supermarket" to solve the emergency problems of residents. In order to solve the urgent needs of poor young families, "Love Supermarket" has played an emergency role. Qi Qiuxue, secretary of the Street Party Working Committee, and other leaders have donated more than 600 pieces of clothes to the "Love Supermarket" and visited the resident units for help, and got more than 0/000 donated items/kloc. Our community took out 2000 yuan to buy all the daily necessities for Sun Shunde.

Third, do a good job in helping and educating juvenile delinquents. Community League branches conscientiously implement the general plan of "ruling the country by virtue" and actively carry out the work of helping and educating juvenile offenders with bad behavior within their jurisdiction. And form a helping pair with them, exchange ideas, encourage them to turn over a new leaf, be self-reliant, care about their lives and help them solve practical difficulties. For example, Li Chuang, a 6-year-old boy living in Group 7 of the 27th Committee, lived with his grandmother after his parents divorced. The breakdown of his family made him lose confidence in life. He wandered around Internet cafes and game halls every day and was expelled from school. Finally, he was educated for a year for stealing. After coming out, the community league branch was afraid that he would give up after knowing the situation at home, so he came forward to help him contact the school, communicate with his father and let Li Chuang Jr.

Fourth, improve youth volunteer service and strive to be pioneers.

The first is to strengthen the scope of voluntary service. In the community, where there is need, there are young volunteers. They actively participate in the activities of "creating first-class service level and building a civilized and harmonious community", publicize policies and employment policies to the unemployed, and provide employment services; Guide the disabled to carry out rehabilitation training; Provide legal advice and answer legal questions for the community, and exempt the elderly, the poor and the disabled from legal proceedings; Set up a hotline to provide all kinds of convenience consulting services for residents in the area; Organize environmental protection and clean-up actions, carry out patriotic health campaigns, and do a lot of basic work for community building.

The second is to pay attention to the quality of volunteer service. When the community volunteer service team pays attention to orphans, children from poor families and delinquent teenagers in the community, it not only cares about them in life, but also cares about their growth in spirit. For example, there is an orphan named Jiang Lei, who just entered middle school. His parents died, and the only grandfather who could take care of him died of illness. He sleeps on the street all day. After learning the situation, the staff of the community volunteer service team contacted their relatives in many ways, arranged for their aunt to live with him, actively contacted the District Civil Affairs Bureau to declare the minimum living allowance for him in time, and specially sent a volunteer to help him review his lessons, which made Jiang Lei feel the warmth of his family again. For example, Fu Jiang, a juvenile delinquent in the jurisdiction, lost his mother, and his grandparents refused to support him. The police at the police station and volunteers in the community took care of him for a month until his grandparents agreed to take him in. Later, they contacted him in many ways and sent him to a school for boarding study. Volunteers visited him on Saturday and Sunday, so that the orphan would not be lonely, feel the warmth of his family and prevent him from going astray. Volunteers care for community residents with love and gain their full trust.

In recent years, the work of our community league branch has made certain achievements, but there is still a big gap from the requirements of superior leaders, and we will make unremitting efforts. In the future work, we should take the spirit of the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China as an opportunity, adhere to the people-oriented principle, do a good job in the work of community league branches, and strive to create a new situation in the work of community league branches.
