What is a statistical modeling contest?

This activity refers to a national competition jointly organized by China Statistical Education Society and the National Steering Committee for Postgraduate Education in Applied Statistics.

This competition is aimed at undergraduates and postgraduates in universities all over the country, aiming at improving students' enthusiasm for learning statistics and encouraging them to apply statistical knowledge to solve practical problems. Through the competition, students can establish statistical models, use computer technology to process data, strengthen innovative thinking awareness, and improve data mining and data analysis capabilities.

This competition is held every two years, and it is one of the largest and most rigorous statistical disciplines competitions in China.
