What books did you read during the National Day?

During the National Day, I read a novel named Hongyan, and its related contents are as follows:

1. This novel tells the story of Chongqing underground party member's struggle with the enemy during his stay in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. Red Rock is a book full of patriotism. Through this book, I deeply felt the sufferings of the people in China during that period.

2. For the dignity and survival of the nation, underground party member bravely devoted himself to the revolutionary cause with his own wisdom and courage and fought tenaciously. Their patriotism and revolutionary spirit deeply infected me. Besides Hongyan, I also read some books about the history and culture of China, such as A Course in China History and A Brief History of Chinese Philosophy.

These books let me know more about China's culture and history, and also enhance my patriotism. I also read the literary works of some contemporary writers, such as Mo Yan and Yu Hua. These works show the present situation of China society and the people's hard struggle, which makes me more deeply aware of the changes and progress of China society.
