What school is Shanghai Maritime University?

Shanghai Maritime University is a multidisciplinary university featuring shipping, logistics and ocean. Its disciplines include engineering, management, economy, law, literature, science and art. In 2008, the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and the Ministry of Transport signed an agreement to establish Shanghai Maritime University.

The school has three postdoctoral research stations (transportation engineering, electrical engineering, management science and engineering), four first-level doctoral programs (transportation engineering, management science engineering, ship and ocean engineering, electrical engineering), two doctoral programs 17, one-level master program 17, and two master programs of 64,65438. At present, there are 2 national experimental teaching demonstration centers, 2 national virtual simulation experimental teaching demonstration centers, 5 national practical teaching demonstration centers, and 1 national demonstration engineering degree graduate training base. It has a water training center and a 48,000-ton bulk cargo teaching and practice ship "Yu Ming".
