Today, I was lucky enough to visit the site of Yuanmingyuan, and I was deeply touched.

As soon as I entered the garden, I saw some propaganda slogans about Dutch culture. I saw the blue waves of the pool, the wonderful fountains, the graceful lotus shadows and the tourists lingering. I thought to myself, "Is this the site of Yuanmingyuan"? Let's look ahead. It's just some ponds, pavilions and pavilions. While taking pictures, I secretly doubt it. Is this the so-called construction site?

Along the exhibition hall, I saw the Animal Head Museum of the Chinese Zodiac, and I inevitably thought of Lawrence, an international cultural relic dealer in the Chinese Zodiac starring Jackie Chan. Walking in the ruins, savoring its bitter course and feeling the traces of time and space, I seem to have returned to that era of war. When Yuanmingyuan was burned down, there were nearly 300 struggling maids and eunuchs. Those in power were not in power, just playing, and there were troops who retreated without fighting ... "Look, I don't see foreigners here. Are they ashamed to come here? " A visitor's words woke me up. Take a closer look. I really didn't see any foreigners today. I hope, as this tourist said, they know that they are guilty and have no face to witness their "achievements".

The panoramic model I watched later opened my eyes and lamented the glory of Yuanmingyuan. "So many pavilions, the emperor doesn't know how many months it will take to travel around?" Another tourist's words reminded me of the luxurious palace life from Emperor Kangxi to Emperor Tongzhi. The Yuanmingyuan is the pride of the Chinese nation, and its beauty is dazzling, just like the fairyland on earth written by French writer victor hugo: a dream composed of marble, white marble, bronze and porcelain ... At the same time, the Yuanmingyuan is a witness to the sins of Britain, France and other Eight-Nation Alliance, and its destruction is heartbreaking. Bernard Brissel, a famous French historian, once said: The disaster of Yuanmingyuan is a catastrophe in the history of China and the history of world civilization.
