Out of service, Xichang City's 110 kV suburban station mainly provides power from a single power supply, and more than 30,000 households have their power supply interrupted.

After the disaster, State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Company immediately launched an emergency plan, mobilized more than 300 power repair personnel, 30 emergency repair vehicles, 3 power generation vehicles, and 6 generators and put them into power supply. By 20:00, two 110 kV power supply lines had been restored, and the remaining power outages were being gradually restored.
