How should the horizontal batch of couplets be corrected?

Hongpi refers to a banner (horizontal drape, banner) that is hung on top of a pair of couplets. It is generally only used for a small number of couplets where this is necessary. The so-called "horizontal" refers to the writing method of horizontal writing; "patch" contains the meaning of revealing and commenting, and refers to the role of supplementing, summarizing and improving the theme content of the entire couplet.

1. Horizontal writing is more concise and comprehensive than couplets, generally consisting of 4 characters.

2. The horizontal comment should be closely related to the content of the couplet. The organic combination with the couplets makes the artistic conception of the couplets more profound and beautiful.

3. Do not use words in horizontal batches that overlap with couplets. For example, "The green mountains of China are full of auspiciousness and never grow old; the spring breeze blows the earth and the green water flows forever." If this Spring Festival couplet is accompanied by a horizontal line such as "Spring fills the world", it will repeat the couplet. It would be more appropriate if it is paired with "Jiangshan Duojiao".

4. Don’t use mediocre slogans or slogan-like sentences for horizontal comments. Writing horizontal comments used to be written from right to left, but now it must be written from left to right. .
