Yanling County, affiliated to Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province, is located in the southeast of Hunan Province, in the middle section of the Luoxiao Mountains, and at the western foot of Jinggang Mountain. It is 50.49 kilometers wide from east to west and 50 kilometers long from north to south.

Yanling County belonged to Jingdi in ancient times and Chaling County of Changsha County in the Han Dynasty. It was known as the "end of Changsha Tea Town" in history and was the resting place of the ancestor of the Chinese nation, Yan Emperor Shennong. The Mausoleum of Emperor Yan is known as the "No. 1 Mausoleum in China". It is a national key cultural relic protection unit and a national 5A-level scenic spot. Yanling is an important part of the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base Area. Hengyang Expressway, Yanmu Expressway, Yanru Expressway and Jiheng-Hengzhou Railway run through Yanling. According to the seventh census data, as of 0:00 on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Yanling County was 160,274.

1. Shennong Valley

National nature reserve, national forest park, national 4A tourist attraction, located in Yanling County Shidu Town. The scenic area has lush forests and gurgling streams, and preserves the largest 100,000 acres of virgin forest in South China. Its air negative oxygen ion content is as high as 136,000/cubic centimeter, and enjoys the reputation of "Asia's No. 1 Natural Oxygen Bar"; the altitude is 2115.2 meters. Lingfeng is the highest peak in Hunan.

2. Red Army Slogan Museum

A national 4A-level scenic spot, the first Red Army slogan museum in the country approved by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, and has been selected into the list of national red tourism classic scenic spots. The Red Army Slogan Museum is located in Dashaoping, Xiayang Town, Yanling County, covering a total area of ??13,500 square meters. The main exterior wall of the museum is entirely red, and the front is shaped like three red flags on the left and right.
