Pingxingguan introduction

Pingxingguan is a pass of the Inner Great Wall, located in Pingxingguan Village, Hengjian Township, Fan Shi, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, on the Pingxingling at the junction of Lingqiu County and Fan Shi, Xinzhou City, Datong City. In the sixth year of Zheng De in the Ming Dynasty (A.D. 15 1 1), when the Inner Great Wall was built, it passed through Xing Ping Ridge and built Guanlou on Guanling. Xing Ping Guancheng is located at the southern foot of Xing Ping Ridge (now Xing Ping Guancun, Hengjian Township, Fan Shi). It is square, with a circumference of more than 900 feet. There is one gate in the north, one gate in the south and one gate in the east. The main gate is engraved with three Chinese characters "Xing Ping Ridge" (the main gate is now in the Guan Bao site). It is really a magnificent mountain peak.
