With the buttons on the WordArt toolbar, you can set the content, style, shape, font spacing and size of WordArt. If this toolbar is not displayed, you can right-click WordArt and select Show WordArt Toolbar, or execute View → Toolbar → WordArt.

The following describes the functions of the buttons on the toolbar.

Insert WordArt: Click this button to open the WordArt Library dialog box and insert a new WordArt.

Edit Text: After selecting a WordArt, click this button to open the Edit WordArt Text dialog box, where you can modify the text content.

WordArt: After selecting WordArt, click this button to open the WordArt dialog box, where you can re-select a style and replace the original style.

Format WordArt: Click this button to open the Format WordArt dialog box, where you can set the color, line, size and layout of the selected WordArt.

WordArt Shape: Click this button to further decorate the selected WordArt with the preset shape.

Text wrapping: You can set the text wrapping form of WordArt specially.

WordArt letters have the same height: letters with different heights can be made the same height, such as lowercase A and B.

WordArt Vertical Text: Makes the selected horizontal WordArt vertical. If it is vertical, this button is selected. Click it to make it horizontal.

Alignment of WordArt: If WordArt has multiple lines, you can use this button to adjust its alignment.

WordArt Character Spacing: Adjust the word spacing of WordArt.

After the layout of WordArt is set to floating type, three kinds of signs will appear around it. Drag eight white handles to change their size. Turn the green rotary handle to rotate it; Drag the yellow diamond handle to change its shape. In addition, you can also use the buttons on the drawing toolbar, such as fill color, line color, line type, dotted line type, shadow style and 3D shadow style, to decorate the wordart. Most of their uses have been introduced in previous tutorials. The settings of "Shadow Style" and "3D Shadow Style" will be introduced later.
