What does reading mean for the concession of China's rise?

Concession refers to the legal residence of foreigners with administrative autonomy and extraterritorial jurisdiction (consular jurisdiction) established in the territory of one of the two countries for the other country after negotiation, lease or franchise. In China, it refers to the abbreviation of leased land forcibly acquired by imperialist powers in China through unequal treaties in modern history, mostly located in port cities.
