Understand the classification of tile quality grade

Classification standard of tile quality grade

There are different opinions about the quality grade of ceramic tiles. According to the national standard number of ceramic tiles: GB/T 4 100- 1999, the national quality standard number: BES643 1 and the national building materials supervision and inspection standard GB6763-2000.

Correct quality grade name

At present, the mainstream classification names of tile quality grades are excellent, first-class and second-class. Other level names have been filtered out, or few people are using them. Even on the packaging of merchant tiles, the word "excellent" is only marked.

3C certification is not the only standard.

It doesn't mean that there are quality problems without 3C certification, because only tiles with water absorption below 0.5%, such as polished tiles, need national 3C certification, while antique tiles and tiles with high water absorption are not needed.

The difference between a, b and c grades

The terms A, B and C are not used for quality grades, but for tiles.
