Founded in 1956, Shigang Middle School in Tongzhou District, Nantong City, formerly known as Shigang Junior High School in Nantong County, is a key high school in Nantong City with the motto of "respecting morality and learning". In the first half of 2004, it won the title of 4A Excellent School, the advanced unit of campus poetry teaching in Jiangsu Province and the national gold medal of school culture construction.
