When is the anniversary of Nanjing University of Science and Technology?

On September 20th, 2023, Nanjing University of Science and Technology will celebrate its 70th birthday.

During the period of 1953, the smoke of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea has not been exhausted. The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Chairman Mao resolutely decided to establish the Military Engineering College of the People's Liberation Army of China (hereinafter referred to as "Harbin Military Industry"), which is the first military higher education in new China. Nanjing University of Science and Technology was founded by the Artillery Engineering Department of Harbin Military Region. After the development stages of Chinese People's Liberation Army Artillery Engineering College, East China Engineering College and East China Institute of Technology, it is more famous in 1993. From starting a business in the northern ice city, to expanding business in Jiangcheng Wuhan, and then to developing business in the southern foothills of Zhongshan, all employees of South University of Technology have always remembered the solemn oath of "consolidating national defense and prospering the motherland", devoted themselves to the mission of Guo Xu, devoted themselves to cultivating talents, and wrote a brilliant chapter of loyalty, dedication and courage.

Today's Nanjing University of Science and Technology is striding forward on the new journey of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way with boldness of vision and perseverance.
