I am studying in Tongren University now. From my personal experience and point of view, the soul of a city is composed of three elements: scenery, food and culture. Economically speaking, Tongren is an economically underdeveloped third-and fourth-tier city. Because it is a mountainous area, there are no large cash crops or other resources except wood, medicinal materials and various minerals, which seriously hinders the local economic development of Tongren. Most crops are basically self-produced and self-sufficient in rural areas, and there is no "one village, one product" under the guidance of the government in coastal areas. Industry can hardly be mentioned. Although the government is gradually increasing investment attraction, which has developed rapidly in the past ten years, the overall effect is not very good. Perhaps the government saw its weakness and put forward the development ideas of "tourism economy" and "learning the classics of mountains and laying a good foundation for water" while attaching great importance to industrial construction.

In terms of transportation, it is still inconvenient to travel. In terms of railways, only Yuping County has a railway station. In the past, Tongren people went to Yuping or Huaihua by train. Although Tongren now has trains and high-speed trains, which is much more convenient than before, there are few routes and shifts, and it is often necessary to change trains at Huaihua or Yuping. In terms of air transportation, Tongren Daxing Airport has been continuously rebuilt and expanded since its restoration, and the flight routes have gradually increased, but most of them are small models, and the routes are mostly transit. In terms of highways, although all counties have expressways, there are few national highways. In terms of water transportation, it depends on Wujiang River. Therefore, traffic is another major factor that seriously hinders the development of Tongren.

In terms of environment, it is more appropriate to describe Tongren with "beautiful scenery". Because there is no harm of economic development everywhere, almost everywhere is a pollution-free original ecological environment, which is very suitable for living or supporting the elderly.

In short, Tongren is a third-and fourth-tier city with inconvenient transportation and underdeveloped economy; It is a city with beautiful scenery and environment, suitable for living or supporting the elderly; This is also a city with continuous progress and rapid development.

Tongren now only has trains connecting tongren city and Yuping County. People in other counties go out by bus and minibus. To be honest, this kind of travel is not very popular, not only expensive but also too uncomfortable. I hope that Tongren in the future can increase investment in trains and high-speed rail, so that people can truly experience the benefits brought by the development of the times.

Tongren Mountain is beautiful and makes people feel relaxed and happy. But for Tongren TV, I can't say anything at all. I feel that Tongren TV Station is very boring. Simply put, it is an independent individual who is separated from ordinary people. Without considering the needs of ordinary people at all.
