Conditions for issuing discount cards

China registered veterans, survivors of martyrs, survivors of soldiers who died in the line of duty, survivors of deceased soldiers and other objects can apply for preferential cards. As long as you are above veterans and their entitled groups, you can apply for a preferential card.

At present, the preferential cards are divided into two categories: "Veterans' Preferential Card", "Martyrs' Preferential Card", "Soldiers who died in the line of duty" and "Survivors' Preferential Card". You can apply for the corresponding discount card category according to your own identity.

Note: Even if you can apply for two types of discount cards, you can only choose one in the end.

Do not meet the conditions for applying for a "preferential card" are:

(1) Being expelled from the army or being expelled from the army during his service; In other words, as long as you have been a deserter in the army and have been expelled from the army, you are not eligible to apply.

(2) Being deprived of political rights within the time limit; This is because it violates the bottom line of the law and has a bad influence on society and the country. Those who are deprived of political rights within the time limit cannot apply.

(3) Being serving a sentence, being detained or being wanted. That is to say, those who have committed crimes and are currently serving their sentences, those who have been temporarily detained by judicial organs before the final judgment, and those who have been arrested by public security or judicial organs within a certain range. None of them meet the application conditions.

I would like to remind you in particular that Article 26 of the Measures for the Administration of Preferential Cards clearly stipulates that if an applicant has been subjected to criminal punishment, has been expelled from China * * * Party membership, has been expelled from public office, or has other circumstances that seriously affect his identity and honor, the department (bureau) of veterans affairs of the province (autonomous region, municipality) shall comprehensively consider relevant factors and conduct an audit, and the audit shall be reported to the department of veterans affairs for the record.

How to apply for a discount card:

1. on-site application. Applicants who bring relevant materials to the place where their registered permanent residence is located or apply to the town (street) service station for retired soldiers can make an appointment for the application time in advance through the Internet.

Second, online application. Applicants who have completed the establishment of the card can log on to the veterans service platform through the Internet and submit their applications online.

Third, the handling of the door. For applicants who are over 80 years old, unable to take care of themselves and stay in bed for a long time, I and my family members can contact the nearest township (street) veterans service station to apply for home handling.

Article 2. Article 5 The Department of Veterans Affairs shall be responsible for guiding the issuance and service management of national discount cards, and determining and adjusting the scope of cooperative banks in a timely manner. Provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) veterans affairs departments (bureaus) are responsible for defining the specific requirements for the service management of preferential cards in the region, determining the cooperative banks in the region within the scope of cooperative banks determined by the veterans affairs departments, and promoting the use of preferential cards in the region.
